CCM uses a benchmark rather than one universal index because outsourced call-center offers can represent dedicated staffing, co-managed teams or fully managed BPO operations.

Transparent hourly examples

Current public examples include Helpware around $8-$15/hour for some dedicated customer-service configurations, HelpSquad around $8-$13/hour for staffing and Unity Communications starting around $10.25/hour for certain BPO services. The transparent starting-rate sample is small and must not be described as a market-wide average.

Monthly-FTE examples

Sourcefit publishes selected customer-service role examples around $980, $1,100 and $1,300 per month.

CCM planning normalization

CCM may illustrate hourly rates using 173.33 hours/month (40 x 52 / 12) but labels the result as a CCM calculation, not a provider billing assumption.

Required classification

Every observation should preserve service model, delivery region, work type and billing model. A low-cost staffing rate cannot automatically outrank a fully managed BPO quote.

Future moat

As CCM accumulates anonymized buyer quote data, track median quoted hourly/FTE rates, management premium, voice premium, bilingual premium, 24/7 premium, minimum team size, setup fees and contract length by region.

Research principle: compare the operating scope before the rate.
